So Many Airplanes
This poster was a submission for the poster show Toys In the Attic.
Toys In the Attic is a celebration of toys, to benefit those without them. The annual Toys In the Attic event is both a toy drive and art show – featuring limited-edition, toy-inspired poster prints and custom-created toys. 100% of the door donations and toys collected go to The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation – along with 25% of art print and custom toy sales. The event was organized by local coolnics, Squad19.
This year the event took place Friday December 4th, 2009 at the Soo Visual Arts Center in Minneapolis.
This poster was a collaboration with Bill Burns and Todd Zerger, the boys from redblackbrown, a design collective I am a member of. The girls from redblackbrown, Jessica Hall Burns, Zara Gonzalez and Colleen Meyer, designed another poster. It was our chance to playfully pit the redblackbrown boys against the girls.
Poster size is 18 inches by 24 inches.
