Fantastic Merlins approached me about designing the CD packaging for their second release, A Handful of Earth.

The Fantastic Merlins are as Destination Out's Jeff Jackson describes, "...modernist, playful, and spiked with inviting hints of mystery."

They wanted a package that captured this spirit. When sketching for this design, I though a lot about ritual.
